Puma introduces a series of Animal Crossing apparel
German retailer Puma is working on Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons, bringing some parts of the world’s most popular game into reality.
The new collection, which premiered on Saturday, contains dozens of adult and children’s products incorporating sneakers and pastures with animal images and game motifs.
Adult sneakers start at $90. Hoodies featuring “villagers” outlines of the game start at $ 80. The collection includes 18 adult goods and 17 child products in four sizes.
“Taking the popular game, the streetwear silhouette of the collection has been recreated with natural hues and original game visuals,” says the website of Puma.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a worldwide game in which participants are brought to a barren island and transformed into a settlement through easy, pleasant tasks..
Puma had previously cooperated with Nintendo. In commemoration of Super Mario’s 35th birthday, the shop published NES shoes and clothes based on the Super Mario 3D All-Stars last year. In minutes, the collection sold out.
To yet, only one adult shoe Animal Crossing model has been sold on the Puma web site on its debut day.
Released in March 2020 when pandemic shutdowns began, Nintendo’s ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ game sold 5 million digital copies, most of any console title in only one month, according to the SuperData from Nielsen that studies the gambling business. Its popularity has stimulated demand for the Nintendo Switch, which likewise sold out on several outlets.
According to their website, Puma has relationships with ten firms and brands from an early 2000 theme line with children’s toy Bratz to the luxury lifestyle brand Goop from Gwyneth Paltrow.
